ISKCON Delhi temple in East of Kailash- New Delhi

The Radha Parthasarathi deities were established by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, much before the current temple structure came up. Known as the Glory of India Project, the temple was inaugurated in 1998, on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Sri Atal Bihari Vajepayee – the then Prime Minister of India was the chief guest of honor.

The temple has three altars. On the first altar are Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, the most merciful incarnations of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu who appeared about 500 years ago at West Bengal. The divine couple, Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi along with their confidental gopis, Lalita and Vishakha and on the third altar are Sri Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana and great devotee servitor Hanumana.

Since 1998, the Radha Parthasarathi Temple Complex has expanded considerably to fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s vision. You are most welcome to visit Vrindavan and see for yourself one of the most inspiring spiritual centers in the world.

The Deity is Sri Krishna Himself who has taken a form made of a material substance like marble just to make it convenient for us to worship Him. Pilgrims coming to the temple get the highest spiritual benefit by taking darshan of the Deities, by offering obeisances, by circumambulating the Deities and by partaking the charanamrita (water that has washed the lotus feet of the Lord).
