Barsana Dham is a center for worship and traditional Indian cultural activities. The most striking aspect for casual visitors to the facility is the Temple of Shree Raseshwari Radha Rani and its surrounding grounds. His Divinity Swami Prakashanand Saraswati, founder of the International Society of Divine Love, established Barsana Dham in 1990. The 35,000 square foot Temple, dedicated in 1995, is one of the largest and most beautiful Hindu temples in the United States. This already beautiful portion of the hill country has been lovingly transformed into a representation of the holy land of Braj in India. The various ponds and hills and even the natural stream represent real places in Braj.
