Tuberculosis (TB)

Overview

Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Two TB-related conditions exist: inactive TB and active TB disease. Getting tested and treated for TB can protect yourself, your family and friends, and your community. Source: CDC
