March 24, 2025 (ATLANTA, GA) – The Association for Dental Safety (ADS), formerly known as OSAP, is thrilled to announce Brett Kessler, DDS, President of the American Dental Association (ADA), as the Dr. John S. Zapp Global Lecturer for the 2025 ADS Annual Conference. The conference will take place in Orlando, Florida, from May 29 – 31, at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort.

Dr. Kessler’s session, "From Rock-Bottom to Significance: A Dentist’s Journey," will offer an inspiring narrative of resilience and personal growth. A distinguished clinician and leader, Dr. Kessler will share how he overcame significant obstacles to achieve success in his professional and personal life. Drawing from his experiences in organized dentistry and achievements as an elite athlete, he will provide attendees with insights on maintaining wellness and living purposefully.

Dr. Kessler has competed in numerous events across the country, including two remarkable finishes at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. His journey toward an inspired life began with his recovery from substance use disorder, a truth he shares openly. Choosing to change his path in 1998, Dr. Kessler has since committed to living his best life and contributing to a better world.

Dr. Kessler values the opportunity to share both his successes and failures, believing that openness encourages others to make meaningful changes. His belief that celebrating each person’s full self can significantly transform the world will undoubtedly resonate with conference attendees.
